Multifunctional Museum "La bunici" from Tudora
In the center of Tudora village, on a small street next to the church, a small house attracts guests in search of tradition and beauty. Covered with reeds and warmed with a blue belt, the multifunctional Museum "La bunici" is a place with traditions and a lot of history hidden in the corners. In the three rooms and a porch, treasures of the rural world were crowded, and the one who crosses the threshold of the house discovers a universe of the village world, a chronicle of the village history, an idyllic representation of the domestic life on the bank of the Dniester. Over 300 pieces enrich the museum's history room: war and woven rugs, old irons, opinci, collections of old documents and certificates, photographs, pomelnice. The resistance song is an old turntable from 1940, which still works and is ready to play the music of the past years. The books, monographs and works of writers and outstanding people from this village are sitting on the shelves and waiting to be browsed. The Big House, indispensable in any household, colorful, vibrant and, of course, cool, delights the eyes and the soul with the simple taste that is guessed from every piece of fabric passed through the hands of the women of this village. The pillowcases, the wall hangings, the carpets, the towels, the towels, the flats, the shirts talk to the guests about the big day dress of the grandparents, they carry in them the story of the villagers who wore them.
Out of the desire to perpetuate traditional craftsmanship, as an added value to the objects collected, the museum also functions as a workshop for all those who want to discover new talents. So, with the help of the skilful Tatiana Barbăneagră - Grandma Tatiana - guests can make objects from shells, lotion, straw, cloth, clay - traditional and characteristic materials of this region. Children from the village kindergarten and gymnasium attend the museum to learn the art of weaving, crocheting, embroidery and, last but not least, pottery, for which purpose the museum was equipped with wooden, clay and crochet tools. or embroidery. Decorative objects made by children enrich the rooms of the museum and can be purchased to financially support this core of the craft.
