Leuntea-Vin

“Leuntea-Vin” Wine Factory together with the village Leuntea, where it is located, represents a historical value in the south-east region of Moldova. Being one of the oldest wineries on the territory of Basarabia, it started the wine industry in that region, introducing the science and technology of european descent.

 

The winary’s spacious cellar with hard wooden barrels, in which the wines were stored and aged, was noticed and described In the agenda of the Ministry of State Property In 1864.

The cellar, noted in history, has resisted till our days and belongs to the wine factory “Leuntea-Vin”. The wine is kept here In wooden barrels, just the same way, as in the past.

The wine is created by the owner of the winery, Dmitrii Kyssa. He is an oenologist with more than 45 years’ experience in the industry , who personally controls the quality of production and strictly observes the technology.
